NIN/Soundgarden w/ Cold Cave
NIN/ Soundgarden w/ Cold Cave
a sensory overload kinda show
All three bands nailed it!
I’m a huge Cold Cave fan and I’ve never seen him so it was great to have that opportunity. And he didn’t disappoint. Sick beats and synths. What else could you ask for. You could ask for one of the most amazing and influential bands of our time to follow up.
Soundgarden killed it! Their setlist was amazing. Full of the best songs. “The Day I Tried To Live” and “Rusty Cage” were two that stood out to me. But it was all good. “Black Hole Sun” also was like an old friend that came back to haunt you. Great rock history moment. They achieved “total heaviosity” as quoted from Spinal Tap. Such a heavy groove they are such pros. You just knew you were witnessing one of the greats!
Next up was Nine Inch Nails (NIN). I have been seeing them live since the beginning 1990 Pretty Hate Machine. I love Trent Reznor and these guys! They never disappoint. Opening with “Copy of A” NIN was in full effect. Which speaking of effects I love the visuals and lights. Like a Rembrandt painting in your brain. Etched deep in your soul! This was rock history. My favorite songs for NIN last night were “Sanctified”, “Wish”, “The Hand That Feeds” and set closer “Head Like A Hole” what a stunner! They encored “Hurt” and it was a keeper. So haunting and amazing!”
They created such a memorable show.
If you have a chance to catch this tour in your hometown don’t miss it!
