It is actually pretty tough to get tickets to Coachella at this point for this year, although not impossible. Coachella is in April every year, it is usually the second and third weekend in April. The tickets will go on sale typically in May, right after Coachella which is usually hard on people. It is like, we just got back, but it is one of those things where it is still fresh in your mind so they do the layaway thing where you put 20% down and the tickets will go on sale, and there is no lineup or anything like that. You get on there and you sign up. You get an account with Front Gate Tickets and your in basically. So it guarantees you. By the time December comes it is almost like your early Christmas present. Guess what, you’ve got you Coachella ticket, you know you are going and then in March they send out the wrist bands. In April you’ve got it and you are on the Polo field. They do it over two weekends now to satisfy the crowds. It guarantees you. But we can’t do that now, so what are our options? If we still want to go. In February they will announce the line up, and there will be tickets released at that time, so you can try to get them that way. How long do they generally last? Are we going to have hours to buy the tickets or will we have a few weeks? If they are going to put them on sale and you know when it is going to be, then get them right away. Be at the computer. Literally within a couple of hours. It could be an hour. I’m not going to lie. It sells out very quickly in fact the pre-sale that they do sells out. All of the tickets they put aside for the pre-sale sell out. It will go for a week long period, but it will sell out the first day. It is kind of crazy, it has gotten really big. Something you don’t want to miss though right? For sure, you have to go once in your life. I’m going to tell you that right now. If you are not the type that likes desert, hot, sweating, water being splashed all over you, your face. Honestly that is one of the reasons that we didn’t go last year is because Livvey doesn’t like those things. She doesn’t like being over-heated and I wasn’t sure if she could handle three days of it. In fact, afterwards she said, I saw pictures, and I am so glad we didn’t go. Well ok. That is what I am saying, it is not for everyone. I am going to put it out there right now. I might go off and say this is the greatest thing ever, to me it is, but it is not going to be for some people. So I’m going to put a disclaimer on that. If you are not into those things, but I’m going to put it out there too that you might say hey, this is the time of my life. I don’t really care that I am covered in water and water ever it is. Young kids has sort of a pain threshold. some young kids. Kind of what happens is you kind of get past that and you forget that you are in a crowd with all of these people and the music takes over. If you are having so much fun and you are hearing such great music then you kind of look past the little things like being uncomfortable. I started going in 2004 and it has really changed over the years, but obviously for the better. They have bigger artists and they have really dialed in the lineup there. One thing I really like about Coachella is it is really almost like a trade show of music and learning about all of the bands. Old and new. They have a lot of reunions. This year we saw The Replacements. We saw The Cult. We saw a lot of classic bands. Outcast. It is really a well oiled machine. My friend Paul Tollett that puts it on does an amazing job and every year just takes it to a whole new level. Bob we have to wrap it up. I am really glad that you had me on. This is so cool. I really had a good time.
